Heres a few Oldies to bump on this Mothers Day while puttin down some COLDTWELVERS. If you didn't know by now then its time you know. I love Oldies on a Sunday. My cuzzo Quirly and Rob C know what I'm talkin about! And shout out to Joey!
Ever since back in the day when I was a youngin, I could remember hearing my MOMS and step-pops playing an assortment of tunes while the BBQ was going- on Sundays. Although my step-pops played mucho romantica and ranchera (Ramon Ayala and Vicente Fernandez for examples), he and my Mom always threw on the Old School and Oldies. I remember hearing these songs and wondering why they always listend to this old stuff. "Put it on KSFM!". So I'd go to my room and slump the Hip Hop.
Now I'm a little more grown up and this genre of music has came full circle. I'm now addicted. Every Sunday I gotta throw on the Oldies. You see, theres nothing like chillin on a Sunday while bumpin Oldies. Sippin some cold ones. Bbq'ing some asade. Then after a few too many, grabbing your girl and slow dancing in the pad like its prom night. As a matter of fact- thats what time it is.
